SCHEDULE ONE
VEHICLE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Recommended at least 3 or 4 times per year or every 5000 – 10,000 km. Schedule 1 includes:
- Inspect/Top Up Cooling System, Transmission, Brake, Windshield Washer, Power Steering
- Drive Belt Inspection
- Visual Inspection of Front/Rear Wheel Drive Systems, Steering System, Suspension Components, Universal Joints and Boots
- Horn Inspection
- Windshield Wiper Inspection ( replace if necessary)
- Leak Detection
- Visual Inspection of Exhaust System
- Lubrication of Chassis, Steering, and Suspension Components ( if applicable)
- Oil Change
- Oil Filter Replacement
- Lubrication of Hinges, Locks, and Latches
SCHEDULE TWO
VEHICLE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Schedule 2 – (Schedule 2 includes all of Schedule 1 plus the following:)
Recommended at least yearly or every 24,000 km. Schedule 2 includes:
- Thorough Road Test
- Tire Rotation/Balance Inspect Spare Tire
- Thorough Inspection Of: Powertrain, Steering, and Suspension Components
- Wheel Alignment
- Inspect Charging System Battery and Connections
- Braking System Service: Inspect/Disassemble/Clean Main components ( all 4 wheels) Clean, Lubricate, Reassemble, and Adjust Brake Shoes ( if required ) Inspect Brake Lines (Rigid and Flexible)
- Inspect Air Filter (replace if required)
- Inspect Cooling System: Hoses and Clamps, Coolant Strength, Pressure Test
- Transmission Inspection
- Clean Radiator Exterior and Air Conditioning Condenser
- Inspect and Lubricate: Parking Brake Cables and Links, Spare Tire Retractor ( under car) Accelerator Links, Shifter Links
- Drive Belt Inspection (replace if necessary)
- Passenger Compartment: Air Filter (s), Pollen Filter (s) (replace if necessary)
SCHEDULE THREE
VEHICLE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Schedule 3 – (Schedule 3 includes all of Schedule 1 & 2 plus the following:)
Recommended at least every two years or 48,000 km. Schedule 3 includes:
- Computer System Scan For Codes
- Clutch System Inspection (Standard Transmission)
- Compliance Inspection of Seatbelt Retractors and Air Bag Systems
- Fuel Evaporation System Inspection
- Spark Plug Inspection (replace if required)
- Fuel Filter Replacement
- PCV Valve Replacement
- Performance Test Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
- Ignition System Inspection
- Flush and Replace the Following Fluids: Cooling System, Transmission Fluid and Filter, Differential Fluids, Brake System Flush, Power Steering System, Transfer Case Service (4×4)
SCHEDULE FOUR
VEHICLE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Schedule 4 - (Schedule 3 includes all of Schedule 1, 2, & 3 plus the following:)
Recommended at least once every four years or around 96,000 km. Schedule 4 includes the following:
- Testing and inspecting your engine management systems and emissions control
- Replacing your timing belt
- Cleaning the ignition system
- Replacing worn spark plugs
- Replacing ignition cables
